Product safety (GPSR)

Last updated: May 12, 2026

Mercur and its sellers follow EU product-safety law, including the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). This page explains the safety information you'll find on listings and how to report a concern.

Safety information on listings

Under the GPSR, listings show the information needed to use a product safely: the manufacturer's name and address, the EU responsible person where the manufacturer is outside the EU, warnings, and safety instructions. Sellers are responsible for keeping this accurate for the products they list, and Mercur requires it before a listing can go live.

Energy labels

Appliances and electronics that require an EU energy label (for example fridges, washing machines, TVs) show the energy class and a link to the product information sheet on the listing, so you can compare running costs before you buy.

Reporting a safety concern

Report a safety concern at safety@kontiq.com, or open the affected order in your orders and use the report option.

Mercur Enterprise

This is a demo, not a shop

Nothing ordered here ships. Everything else runs for real: the catalog, the competing offers, the per-seller cart split and the checkout, on a live Mercur Enterprise instance.

You are seeing the buyer side only. The admin console, the vendor panel and the rest of the platform are not part of this demo. The team shows them live and answers questions while you look.
